Last Project Plan Blog I mentioned I will be working with the video game students at my university. Well, In this blog I will go over my project plan for the video game. Below is my pitch, enjoy!

Game Project:
This Trimester we were given a unique opportunity, usually the audio students create content for other class'. Thus we get put to the back in importance but this trimester, they are switching it up. I have been selected to create a song and multimedia concept that would allow the game students to create assets / a game around my song. The song I have chosen is the one featured below, I will also be making a second half / reprise for the track allowing it to loop indefinitely.
The Project I am pitching is as follows: The concept to the video will be an interactive psychedelic racing game. It will be a simple game, one course with a simple menu system that allows you to view a high-score feature. The scenery will be filled with odd shape's and objects with parameters that randomly warp and skew. The color scheme will be very neon / 80's influenced. I picture the game to be very rough digitally, as though it hasn’t been finished 100% or the game hasn’t been able to render properly. Showing the digital flaws is something I would like to highlight. I hope to achieve a sense of audio / visual synchronization through the game, as the visuals react to the audio. Hue Shifting and object warping tied to the intensity of the song, to give the feeling that you are racing through a psychedelic worm hole. To match the feeling of the song, it will be a hover car you will be driving, giving you fluid movement and allowing simplicity in to the nature of the car as it wont need to feel 'realistic'.
